One of the most amazing sails Ocean Air has ever used. The Freespeed is the model that truly brings us the rewards North promised with their 3Di technology. It takes the peak performance you expect in a premium freeride sail, and adds a lightness both in feel and actual weight that no other brand can match. It's molded shape gives you cam like power and stability, yet when you flip the sail the 3Di material and high-end North rig parts make it feel like a wave sail. It might not be the cheapest option in the shop, but it's easy to say your getting your money's worth in this sail.

For 2026 the shape of the FreeSpeed remains the same, but North has completley changed the layup of the 3Di materials to flow with the loads of the sail. The result is a sail with a winder wind range and a greater efficiency. 

Some of the small details that have been tweaked as well, but the highlight is the addtion of a an extra trim around the boom opening making mast insertion even easier.  Standard features like the amazing 4-1 downhaul blcok, with loop and go inner and outer pulleys are still present  Along wtih the EZ clew, and Rock-It batten tensioner, all or which make tuning your sail that much easier.
